About us

My Guitar Show is a brand name of Mussida Music Publishing s.r.l.,
a company that has been dealing in technological and didactic innovation in music since 1984.

A brief history:
From the early 1990s, the musical experience gained over decades of concerts on international stages and his convictions concerning the spread of music as a global vehicle of expression brought a guitarist of world renown like Franco Mussida (Winner of the Forneria Marconi Award for the coolest Italian progressive rock group of the 1970s and still active today around the world)  to create, together with a team of professionals from the CPM Music Institute, didactic materials that were innovative in both their very conception and approach.

Today, the CPM is one of the top schools in Italy and more. Founded in 1984, the CPM was one of the first Musical Training Institutes in the field of contemporary popular music and, over the years, thanks to its innovative capacity to continually reinvent itself, has become one of the most important music schools in Europe.

With the brand name “Mussida Musica Editore”, we have been on the Italian market since 2004 with the Guitar Teaching Encyclopedia, that software that revolutionized the market of music education.
The Piano and Keyboard Teaching Encyclopedia followed in 2006 and the Drums Teaching Encyclopeda in 2007. Then in 2008, the www.mussidamusica.it web site was born.
In 2009, a new and improved version of the Guitar Teaching Encyclopedia was released in Italy, with the Guitar Course available at newsstands published by Edizioni Master. In 2010, the My Guitar Show was born and, always with Edizioni Master, the Keyboad and Piano Course became available at Italian newsstands.
Knowing how to play a song is a unique experience, and out objective is to make everyone capable of doing it the best they can.
This was the intention behind My Guitar Show. It is meant to teach you to play the the songs you love through an immediate and intuitive approach. Because when we play a song we love, we bring it back to live, we cultivate it, we reinvent it.
In other words, we work every day in our attempts to spread, through technological innovation, the art of making music, because playing an instrument, at any level of mastery, makes people happy.
